Overcome Emotional Eating

emotional eatingYou can’t get away from it. You need to eat to live. The problem with many of us though is that we live to eat. Unfortunately, food can become tied to your emotions. The problem of emotional eating shows up eventually on the scale but it begins first in the mind.

We all have our good days and not so good days. For some of us, we deal with these not so good days by eating. You know, we reach for those “comfort foods.” That wouldn’t be so bad if our comfort foods consisted of apples or broccoli but they don’t. They usually consist of high fat or high sugar content such as mashed potatoes and gravy or cookies and milk…or pick your poison. Read the rest of this entry »
